The Agent Channel Manager at DQE is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing relationships with agent partners to drive revenue growth and market expansion for our telecommunications services. This role involves recruiting new agents, supporting existing agents, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and sales targets. Must be local to the Pittsburgh area. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit new agent partners to expand the company’s distribution network.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract high-performing agents and grow channel sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agent partners to foster loyalty and maximize performance.
- Provide agents with training, support, and resources to ensure they can effectively sell and represent the company's products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute channel sales strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Track and evaluate the performance of agent partners through KPIs and sales targets.
- Implement performance improvement plans and provide feedback to agents to enhance productivity and sales outcomes.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored for agent partners.
- Ensure agents are informed about new products, services, and promotional offers.
- Prepare regular reports on channel performance, sales results, and market conditions for senior management.
- Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of channel strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure agents adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to maintain compliance and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure agents provide exceptional customer service and uphold the company's brand reputation.
- Address any escalated issues or concerns from agents or their customers.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, and market dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel partnerships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and partner management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and competitive market.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales, account management, or a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
